EOCCO 2025 Quality Improvement (QI) team office hours
EOCCO’s Quality Improvement team is hosting a series of virtual office hours for clinical partners during 2025!
While each office hour session will be loosely focused on a CCO incentive measure or reporting requirement, this is an open space for partners to come peer-share and ask questions about any topics in the quality improvement realm.
- Date and time: 2nd Tuesday of every month, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. PST

EOCCO's summer 2025 doula training program
EOCCO is offering its final 70-hour English Birth Doula training this July and August. The course will take place over six weeks and is specifically designed for individuals working in EOCCO-affiliated clinics, hospitals, and health departments. This is a valuable opportunity to strengthen staff capacity, expand perinatal support resources within your organization, and provide culturally responsive, personalized care to pregnant families. Participants who complete the full training will meet the requirements to become an Oregon-certified Birth Doula.

THW In Lieu of Services (ILOS) focus group
EOCCO is exploring the expansion of In-Lieu of Services (ILOS) for Traditional Health Workers (THWs) in non-clinical settings and community-based organizations. To help guide this process, EOCCO invites all THWs, THW supervisors, THW employers and others interested in this topic to participate in a structured focus group on May 28th from 12:00 p.m. –1:00 p.m. PST. This session will provide an opportunity to share insights, identify needs, and shape the future of ILOS offerings for THWs and EOCCO.

OHSU Transgender Health Program: letters of support for gender-affirming surgical care
The OHSU Transgender Health Program (THP) will be hosting a virtual continuing education course for mental health providers that addresses gender-affirming care topics.
This one-day virtual course offers mental health providers information about:
- Preparation and recovery from gender-affirming surgical care
- Conducting trauma-informed gender-affirming mental health assessments for adults
- Writing letters of support for adults
Date and Time: Friday, June 6, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. PST

Motivational interviewing training for immunizers
The Transformation Center, in partnership with Boost Oregon, is hosting motivational interviewing (MI) trainings to support vaccine conversations. Virtual trainings are available during May and June at no cost to health care providers and immunizers. The trainings include an introduction to MI and skills for sharing vaccine information to encourage dialogue in a culturally sensitive way. There is also a longer MI training workshop to deepen MI skills.

OHP Clinical Connections webinar series
The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Medicaid Division warmly invites you to the OHP Clinical Connections Webinar series. Designed specifically for clinicians, such as nurse practitioners, oral health clinicians, doctors and physician assistants, this new quarterly series will serve as a platform to:
- Engage in dialogue with the Medicaid Medical Leadership Team about Oregon Health Plan (OHP) program updates.
- Share your questions, concerns and insights about OHP coverage and service delivery.
- Provide feedback on how changes to OHP may affect your work and the OHP members you serve.
- Support inclusive planning of future changes to OHP.
Date and Time: Sessions will be from 1:05 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST on the following dates:

New OHA-certified Health Care Interpreter Registry file posted
The March and April 2025 OHA Health Care Interpreter (HCI) Registry files have been posted to the EOCCO Incentive Measure webpage under “Meaningful Language Access”. These files contain a list of all active OHA-Certified or Qualified Health Care Interpreters in the state of Oregon. Files can be downloaded for your reference and records.
