Registration is now open for the 12th Annual EOCCO Summit, which will be held on Thursday, October 10th at the Wildhorse Resort and Casino in Pendleton, Oregon.

We invite you to join us for this all-day event with conversations about diabetes care, quality measures, crisis intervention, health related social needs, and so much more!  See below for the agenda.

The EOCCO Summit is free and open to all professionals serving EOCCO members, including clinicians, office staff, traditional health workers, and community-based organizations. This event is approved for 4.5 CME credits!

Starting in March 2024, OHP rolled out the new Health Related Social Needs (HRSN) benefit. Under this benefit members who are eligible can apply for climate devices, housing support and nutrition services covered by EOCCO. Find out who qualifies for this benefit and how to become an HRSN provider.

    Over the past five years Eastern Oregon has seen a rising trend in syphilis and measles. This session reviews cases per county and characteristics of populations for Umatilla, Morrow, Baker, and Malheur counties.

Understanding the thinking and behavior of someone struggling with a substance use disorder is critical to helping that individual achieve and maintain recovery. This session will review the Transtheoretical Model of Stages of Change as it pertains to substance use disorders and explores effective and appropriate interventions for each stage.

  • Shared Outlook on Aging:  Building Age-Positive Organizations & Communities
    Julia Brown, Community Outreach and Engagement Manager at AGE+

    Looking at our rapidly aging demographic shift – especially evident in many of our rural communities – we will discuss how our age biases, from the personal to the systemic, affect our ability to support the growing numbers of older adults in our counties.  We will share tools for use in recognizing age bias and developing skills to counter it for personal and professional growth and in order to better serve individuals of all ages.
