EOCCO Oregon Medicaid DMAP Enrollment Update

In our efforts to quickly and efficiently process all Oregon Medicaid DMAP enrollment applications received by EOCCO, we are moving to digital only applications. Please note that effective 05/01/2022 applications will only be accepted via email to ProviderDMAPApps@modahealth.com. Any applications received via fax or mail after 05/01/2022 cannot be accepted and we will reach out to you.

If you have questions, concerns or difficulties with this process change, please email ProviderDMAPApps@modahealth.com

EOCCO Spring Clinic Trainings

The EOCCO and Summit Health Quality Improvement (QI) team will be conducting clinic trainings in April on the 2022 VBC and quality measures. This will include a review of prior year’s performance, changes to existing incentive measures, and current quality improvement initiatives. Trainings will be held in-person or virtual, depending on your clinic’s preference, and will last approximately 1.5 hours.

Staff will be reaching out within the next week to determine your clinic’s interest in scheduling a meeting. Please contact EOCCOmetrics@modahealth.com with any questions.

Prenatal & Postpartum Survey

In an effort to gain a better understanding of prenatal and postpartum behavioral health screenings in clinic, EOCCO is asking providers and staff about their current workflows. We kindly ask that you take a moment to complete the Prenatal and Postpartum Behavioral Health Screening survey, as this information is part of an Oregon Health Authority contract requirement. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the survey as your responses are vital to our continued development of prenatal and postpartum related initiatives.

Emerging Health

EOCCO has partnered with Emerging Health, as our new preferred provider for nutrition and enteral supplies. Emerging Health is locally owned and operated in Southwest Portland. Emerging Health’s local, experienced pharmacy team prepares and packs all medication, supplies and equipment, and will deliver directly to EOCCO members.

If you have patients with nutrition and/or enteral needs, you may use Emerging Health. You can also use another nutrition and enteral services provider in our network. Please note that Option 1 Northwest Enteral LLC is no longer an in-network provider beginning on March 15th, 2022. All members who received services from Option 1 Northwest Enteral LLC have been notified of this change. They have also been directed to call EOCCO, Emerging Health or their providers office if they need help changing prescriptions over.

To help your patients find other in-network providers, call EOCCO customer service, or visit our EOCCO online provider search tool. Once there, click on ‘Medical’ then search for ‘home infusion’ in the specialty category. You can also help your patients change their prescriptions to Emerging Health one of the following ways:

  1. Call EOCCO- Call EOCCO Customer Service Team at 888-788-9821. They can help you get the member set-up with Emerging health or another in-network provider.
  2. Call Emerging Health- Call Emerging Health’s customer service. They can help move current services. Please call 877-290-2040.

Recruiting Providers: Culturally Responsive Immunization Presenter Training

The OHA Transformation Center is partnering with the Oregon Academy of Family Physicians, Boost Oregon, and Oregon Rural Practice-based Research Network (ORPRN) to bring culturally and linguistically robust education to rural communities and communities of color. This project is seeking 20 clinicians who are passionate about vaccine education and serving their community to participate in this project.

  • Boost Oregon will provide speaker training, culturally appropriate messaging, slide decks and supplemental materials about COVID-19 vaccination to participating providers. Providers chosen will then give up to three 1–2 hour presentations. Presentations will be held at community gatherings, such as church events, community events and online events. Please share the attached flier.
  • Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.
  • Clinicians will receive a $1,000 stipend for each presentation provided.
  • If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete the interest form
